How to recognize a scam and keep your account safe.
How Acme will contact you
We may send account alerts by text or email. We will never ask you to move money to a "safe account", and we will never pressure you to act immediately.
Acme will never ask for
Your full password or PIN
A one-time passcode you received by text
Remote access to your phone or computer
A transfer to "protect" or "verify" your funds
Common scams to watch for
A text or email with an urgent link asking you to "verify" your account (phishing)
A caller claiming to be Acme asking you to move money or share a code
An offer that seems too good to be true and requires an upfront payment
If something feels off
Don't click links or share codes. Reach Acme directly using the number on the back of your card or in the app, and confirm before you act.
